To delete your Telegram account, go to Settings Accounts. If you wish to terminate your membership, go to the deactivation page. Your membership will be permanently deleted if you confirm it by entering your Telegram username and password.

Go to the Settings menu on your mobile device and select Telegram. Select “Privacy Security” from the drop-down menu. After you’ve completed these steps, if you don’t use your Telegram account for the chosen length of time, it will be permanently deleted from Android and iPhone.

There is a cache folder on Android that holds every text, image, audio, video, and another file you’ve deleted from Telegram. You may retrieve the information via the “org. telegram” directory. The most recently erased discussions are available here.

One of Telegram’s security mechanisms is self-destruction, which kicks in after a month of inactivity and causes the account to be closed. If you don’t use Telegram for one month, your account will be canceled, along with all of your conversations and connections.

Users can also get their deleted accounts restored by contacting the Telegram customer care team. They may be contacted via the contact page. Provide all of your paperwork to a customer service representative for verification of your account. Users can use the same phone number and username to create a new Telegram account.
